New boots...

went shopping with my baby and I found these boots at Macy's. Can't wait to wear them again. Also bought a cute corduroy jacket at Target. I am lovin' it. I will take a picture of me with the coat on the next time I go out. Please excuse the box around the pic. I sent the pic from my cell, and for some reason it puts a box around it.

My baby is going on an interview for a new job next week. I wanted to congratulate her on the interview, and show my support, so I made her a card.

I've been on Etsy looking around for new/different scrabble tile pendants. I came across the shop of HomeStudio. I fell in love with the pendant of a pair of chuck taylor's. I plan to get this one in different colors for one of my cousins. I am currently looking for some for her sister. Here is the one of the chuck's.

Print Gocco...

I am searching for an item. I have heard so much about the Print Gocco system, and I would like to get one. I plan to wait until after we are married in May, but I do have this on my list. I took a screen printing class a few semesters ago, and I really enjoyed it. This is sort of like screen printing, but with a smaller machine. I would like to print out invitations and things of that nature. This is the entire system below.

I bought a new laptop. I need to buy one of those cooling thingees because it gets kind of hot on my lap. :-) I saw a cute laptop stand that I can use when I am sitting on the couch. It's at Ikea, which is one of my favorite stores.

I ordered some save the date cards from HeatherLynnphotos shop on Etsy. I told her I wanted to get them printed out, and she suggested using MPIX.com to do so. I am checking out the website now,and I see that they assemble albums. I would like to have an album made through them. Here is a sample of an assembled album.

They also have lifesize wall clings. I think this would be cool for the sports fans, or for a child's room.

I see that they do all kinds of things on this website. Business cards, magazine covers, puzzles, buttons, trader cards, etc. I do need to order some business cards for my etsy shop, but I still haven't decided on the layout yet.

I found something called a standout on this website. Once we get married I would like to have our wedding photo done on this...then as we have our children I would like us to add the pictures around it.

Well, I am going to order the print and get some rest. I have been working 7 days straight and I am tired.

My baby is at her concert, so I decided to do a new post. I think I can get it done before she calls me. :-) I love finding new items on Etsy. It's amazing how creative people are. The possibilities are endless of the things that you can find on this site.

I came across a cute calendar for 2009 on annacote's site. I think I will get this one for our desk.

Stopped by thecraftermaster's site, and came across some gift items. My baby is a SG Rho, and I have 2 cousins who are Delta's and an Aunt who is a Zeta Phi Beta.

I need to start accumulating some accessories. I usually wear silver, but I would like to dress up my outfits a little more. :-) My babe has a lot of jewelry. Her sister bought her a jewelry armoire for Christmas, and she has a lot of it occupied. I'm not rolling with the big folks yet when it comes to jewelry, so I think a nice size jewelry box would be good for me. I came across some nice ones at designhutusa's site on Etsy. Here is my favorite.

I am at work on my break. I use this time to get away from my desk and clear my head. I had to come on and check on some orders that I put in on Etsy, so I figured I would do a post while I am here.
I often find myself needing a mirror, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why I have not bought one to fit into my purse. I often find myself using my cell phone as a mirror. Don't laugh...I know some of you have done it also. LOL So, I did a search on etsy to find some cute mirrors, and I came across gifts2beauty's site and found some that I really like. I think my fave is the yin yang mirror.

Also, while checking out this site, I came across some business card cases. I have not ordered my business cards for my etsy shop yet, but I have been thinking about a case. I found a couple on the same etsy shop that the mirror is on.

Also during my search I came across mandytreptow's page. She has a lovely glass bowl that I love, and you can also buy matching coasters. This would be a nice piece for summer dining.

I will end this post with one last pic. tonyabug has a page on etsy that has all kinds of decals for your call. She has a lot for the Volkswagen Bug, but I think you can put them on any vehicle. I found one that my baby and I will need after May 23rd.

wall decals

I am always looking for new ideas when it comes to decorating. I don't really like plain walls, but I have to have them now because I live in an apartment. When my fiance (she will be my wife by then) and I buy our first house, I plan to do some things with the walls.

I came across some wall decals on etsy, and thought they were nice. This first one is a sentiment that we should always stick to. Click on each image to be taken to the etsy shop of each person. And while I am looking at the picture, I kind of like the comforter set. :-)

say why, but she will get it right away. :-)

I like these two colors together. My baby has been talking about painting. I am going to see if she is still interesting in adding color to her living area. I think paint is the best way to add some spice to a room. That's the best decorating tip out there!!!

For all those who are into "time out" this is the decal for you. Just sit/stand your little here, and let the spot work its magic. :-)

This is definitely my favorite of all the decals. Christ is the center of my life. He is the head of my life, and I know that everything that I have is because of Him.

I have always loved Messenger bags and Tote bags. Found a few that I really like on Etsy today. Click on the images, and you will be taken directly to their Etsy shops.

I took a screen printing class, and I made my own tee-shirts and tote bags. I fell in love with screen printing, and I would love to take the next level of the class. Since taking the class, I always keep my eyes open for nice screen printed tees.
I am a big Marvin Gaye fan, so this tee really caught my eye!

I am learning to play guitar, so I thought this onesie was cute. :-)

Etsy finds,and a card I made...

I found some pretty neat stuff on Etsy today. I was online shopping for some wedding items, like Save the Date cards, return address labels and some "I've Moved" cards. While searching, I came across the following items:

Decorated clipboards by kuteklipboardsbyamy. These two are my favorites. I can use this one to

keep all my paperwork for the wedding together. I have always been very organized, but because I have been working so many hours, I find that I have to take a little more care to be as organized as I used to.

The next find comes from Itsallabouttheprint. I have looked at a lot of pendants on Etsy, but I have to say that this one is by far my favorite.

There is something about the orange that just pops out and makes this piece spectacular. I ordered it as soon as I saw it. I also put in a custom order for some other pendants that I want made. I love the way her work looks. I love the rounded edges!

I need some new paper for my scrapbooking and card making. Red is my favorite color, so I was very pleased when I ran across this paper. It comes from thienthanh's shop.

I was feeling a little creative, so I decided to work on a card for my baby. Here is the card:

I had a really nice time making this card. It felt good to be creative at the end of a long, hard day. I will put the card in the mail tomorrow.
